If you have traveled outside the State of New Mexico in the past 14 days, call the NM Dept of Health at 1-855-600-3453 for guidance on whether or not you need to self-quarantine. If you are advised to self-quarantine, call Ms. Roble, Principal, at 505-242-6640 ext 2207.
Those scheduled to complete orientation on Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th will be rescheduled after spring break.
As this is a rapidly evolving event, we will keep you posted as updates become available.
Scholars who are scheduled to take the NMASR assessment must still attend during open hours to complete the test. Those required to test will be contacted individually to schedule a day and time.
Those scheduled for ASVAB testing on 3/25 will still come test.
For those who need teacher assistance or who do not have access to required technology, the school will be opened on regular school days from 10am to 2pm. Scholars may come onsite during those hours to utilize school resources and have access to face to face teacher assistance.
As of Monday, March 16th, ABQCA will shift to a distance learning model until spring break. Scholars will be expected to log on remotely and complete 4 hours per day of school work. Scholars will track work on weekly time tracking forms utilized for Independent Study Scholars.
ABQCA serves the Albuquerque community and surrounding areas. Our scholars reside in both Bernalillo and Santa Fe Counties. We have scholars who have traveled outside the state recently, we are acting out of an abundance of caution to limit our community exposure to COVID-19.

Hello ABQCA!!! There will be some High Altitude Balloon STEM Projects happening this Spring. If you're interested in doing STEM Labs at 90,000 feet let Mr. B know. These projects can earn you Science, Math, and/or Elective credits!
Last month, Ms. Perez offered a quarter credit STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) mini lab. If you're interested in attending one of these, let her know. It's a fun, interactive way to earn some science credit!
